Kate began volunteering and leading in Children's Ministry when she was a teen [fun fact: for several years she was on a puppet team called "The Master's Handiwork"]. She had great mentors who invested in her faith & leadership development and understands firsthand the value and impact of discipleship. Today, she loves to see kids engage and grow deeper in their faith and learn to hear God's voice.
Kate joined the Bridgewood staff in the fall of 2013 and became the Children's Pastor in January 2015. She is a graduate from the University of MN-Morris with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
She is married to Matt and they have two children. Together they enjoy doing Mad Libs, serving together on Sundays and laughing at each other's puns, jokes and riddles at the dinner table. Kate also enjoys having coffee with friends, writing, graphic design, photography and watching the Buckeyes win!
